I like to pin my Favorites list open:
But if I have multiple tabs open, and I close any tab, my Favorites list un-pins and closes.
Please fix.

Does turning off Preferences / Folder Tree / Expand/Collapse / Collapse non-selected branches make a difference?
(Shouldn't be needed if it's pinned, but maybe that setting isn't accounting for the pin at the moment.)
No, that does not make a difference.
Try turning off Preferences / Folder Tree / Expand/Collapse / Remember expanded items for tabs. That seems to be what causes it.

That did solve the problem, but I do like having 'Remember expanded items for tabs" enabled, so I'm glad that will be fixed.
