Cloud Sync Status

Do you know why there is sync status icons on my entire document folder?

Cloud Icons

It's only on my documents folders. The OneDrive folder itself has a filled dark green icon.

I have the icons turned on but I don't see why my whole docs folder would have any cloud status.

Checked the properties on a few of these folders and they are "Not Shared".

I checked my OneDrive and it's not syncing the folders. It didn't even finish scanning them because it ran into a junction issue. (And why is it Windows 11 icons?)

On the web the uploaded file size and the fact that docs folder don't show up, tell me that my document folders are not being uploaded.

Why would there be status icons on my entire documents folder?

Windows 11 moves Documents into OneDrive by default and without asking.

Interesting.
I'm using Windows 10. I've watched a bunch of videos about it, and still don't see why this happened. Because I never did turn on this backup. But when you go to those settings due to curiosity, it "auto-scans" the folders in the list.

What I am thinking is OneDrive told Windows that it was about to move my docs, but since it errored out with that junction issue, it is still waiting for me to resolve the issue. But it already earmarked the folders for moving, so I'm seeing empty checkmark icons. It also deleted out the files I had within the OneDrive folder too. This all happened recently when it added the 'Personal Vault' feature.

The junction is because Serum 2 came out recently and that folder points to the version 1 presets, so the new plugin can use them, without having to duplicate the presets, as many use actual audio files, so the folder size is large. Brilliant move, no surprises there from Xfer Records. They seem to have saved my docs from unwanted OneDrive moving too.
