Collection Folder Format vs Tab Groups Folder Format

Hi,

I've set up a collection "MyCollection" and modified its column order using a newly created folder format e.g. "MyFormat". From now on, each time when opening the collection I can see the columns in their desired order.

Some days ago, I've saved a tab group "MyGroup". One of its tabs includes the collection "MyCollection".
Each time when opening this group, especially the tab with the collection, I can see the columns are in a different order as defined above.

I thought by applying the folder format once to a collection using preferences->folders->folder formats->path formats, I always get a consistent look.
No matter if this collection is part of a tab group or when opening it from the folder tree.

WOW, it sems that a tab group uses their own dedicated columns and orders, right?

Tab Groups can override some or all aspects of folder formats.

If you edit the group in Preferences, you can turn that on and off, for each section of the format in each tab.
