Color of Favorite Separator

Hi,

is there a setting for adjusting the color of the separator within the favorites list? My background color of the folder tree is rather dark, obviously almost the same color as the separator itself if not identical and it is impossible to see this bar.

Presumably the fav separator works as designed

Favorites can be displayed in a few different places; which one do you want to change?

Here in the folder tree:

I've inserted two separators that do not show up on the left side, folder tree.

Separators aren't currently displayed in the Folder Tree, only in Preferences and the drop-down Favorites menu. So in this instance the color isn't really relevant

OK, you mean at this place for example:

There is no separator either, maybe it's an issue because of similar colors? Or with other words: do you plan to add a color setting for separator bars if this is of any help?

Separators in menus use the Highlight and Shadow colors here, if you are using light text on a dark background:

(If you are using normal dark text on a light background, separators are normally drawn using Windows visual styles.)

(Turning on "Preferences / Toolbars / Appearance / Use Office 2003-style for toolbars" will also change things, and is not recommended these days, if you want an inverted/dark look like in your screenshot.)

Thanks Leo!

as mentioned by you, this is for separators in menus and does not apply to favorite separator, as requested by me.

Favourites in menus use the menu separator the same as anything else in menus. You mentioned wanting to change this in your last screenshot.

Yes, you are correct, regarding my last screenshot, however, initially I asked for separators within the folder/favorites tree on the left side.

WOW, it still makes sense to show up those sparators in the tree that I can set up in preferences :yum: And it may be worth thinking about implementing a dedicated color setting for them.
