This is my problem.
When I click on a folder (right-click),
I obtain the list of the possible columns.
If I select Author, the column is displayed in the list.
How can I fill this field ?
Example :
Sing : memory
Author : barbara Streisand
I'd like to see in the list :
Name of file Author
Memory Barbara Streisand
Is it possible ?

Which type of file are you needing this with? If it's a music file, Artist is the column you want, under the Music category. (Author is usually only populated for documents like .doc and .pdf.)
I see what you mean.
In fact it's a field which belongs to Documents and not Video. Sorry.
In this case, do you know if there is a way to display a field
with the main artist of the movie ? Could be a field I have to fill if it's necessary.
I made some progress.
I can see and fill a field Artist in the metadata panel. In fact, it's the Author name (explained in the help of DO)
But I don't find the field for artist in the videos folder when
I right-click on a column, select colums, Videos.
The list starts with Video codec, audio codec, credits, and so one, but nothing about Artist
I have to specify I have the version 10.5.7.0 version of DO and Windows 7 Familial Premium.
What kind of movie file is it?
