Is there a way to do a numeric sorting in the location column or in the search window instead of a standard ASCII sorting? Folder "10" coming before folder "2" isn't that useful...
Also, is there a way to sort by multiple criteria (columns) in the search window, like in a lister?
Numeric location sorting is a feature request; I'll file one on your behalf. Since Locations are really filenames strung together, the same setting should be able to govern all these fields: Filename, Location, and Location (relative).
You cannot mutli-sort columns in the Find Window. But you can redirect the Find Window's output to a Lister, where you can multi-column-sort your results.
In Opus 9 change the Show Results in pull-down in the upper right corner of the Find window to Lister (Collection). The pull-down immediately below this one allows you to choose a File Collection in which to store your search results, or you may type a new name directly in the pull-down field to create a new File Collection.
When you click the Find button, a new lister will open to the designated File Collection. In the Lister, you can watch the Status Bar to monitor the search progress. Once the Status bar returns to normal, the search is complete.
You can also use Find directly from within a Lister, via Tools Menu - Find Panel.
