Hi,
what is the easiest way to compare the contents of two drives?
One drive contains a large amount of small files and the other is my back-up drive. I want to synchronize them, so that all new or modified files are added to the back-up disk each synch. Also, deleted files from the original drive should also be removed from the back-up. Any suggestions?
Open "menu > tools > sync" and choose the same folders on sourcedir and on destdir. Define the settings you want to use in the sync-window. That's all.
But: I had the same problem, but DOpus' sync did not have the complexity I needed (e.g. defining sync-tasks, profiles, etc...). For this you need to use a separate sync-/backup-tool (e.g. I'm using SyncBackSE).
