Confirm File Replace - "Skip For All Archives"

When selecting and extracting multiple archives, in "one operation", and each archive contains the same file DO will prompt to "Confirm File Replace".

It would be nice if there was a "Skip For All Archives" option. Why? If I am extracting a few hundred archives (for example) and they each contained one or multiples of the same file DO will prompt for a response on each and every archive. This is a lot of unnecessary mouse clicks!

Do you mean there are archives within the archives, or that Skip All only applies to files (of any type) within the current archive?

Using the plugin Zip handler instead of the internal handler should fix the latter, if I’ve understood correctly.

The "Skip All" seems to only apply at the current archive being extracted. When DO moves to the next archive in the list it prompts the same question again.

FYI this specifically is in relation to 7z archives. I have not tried or can't recall if this is applicable to .zip and other archive formats too.

Similar to this question here.

I tried as well and (again) only got asked once.

You could use this explicit command:

COPY EXTRACT WHENEXISTS=skip

Oh, that surprises me, but I can confirm it after testing with 7z.

Lxp's command above can be used as a workaround for now, but I've made a note to look at this when I have a moment, as the flag is supposed to be kept for later archives, not just the current one. Maybe something changed which means it no longer is.

I don't remember this being an issue in previous versions, i.e. Opus 12.

Thank you for the suggested workaround.
