For example, in "English" input mode, you can delete a file by right-clicking and opening the context menu and pressing the "D" key.
But in "Other Language(Korean, in my case)" input mode, there is no response when pressing the "D" key in the context menu. (All other shortcuts also do not work)
Windows Explorer works well in both cases, maybe Explorer temporarily switches to English input mode when context menu is opened?
I'm on DOpus 12.30 x64 / Windows 10 Pro Version 21H2 Build 19044.2364
The key may not be D in other languages. If you open the context menu via the context menu key on your keyboard (assuming it has one, some remove it to save space) then the accelerator keys will be underlined.
(You can also push the Del key (or click the Delete button on the toolbar) to delete files without opening a context menu. Much quicker.)
It could be a translation issue, if the translator didn't add an & before a letter in the menu item label. Or they may have chosen a different letter.
You can inspect and also edit these yourself if you go to Settings > File Types > All Files and Folders > Context Menu.
What do you see for the label if you double-click the Delete action there? In English, the Action field will display &Delete, indicating D is the key for the menu item.
First, this is English-Korean keyboard looks like. (D and ㅇ are physically same key)
This is recording of DOpus works well with English input mode
You can check keystroke at right bottom corner
And this is recording of Korean input mode.
Keystroke "D" detected several times, but nothing happens.
I don't want DOpus to handle other language letter like 'ㅇ', 'ㅅ', and so on, but I hope only English input mode shoud be activated when Context Menu is opened. (As I'm not an expert, there may be some other ways.)
For now, I'll use Auto Hot Key to change input language mode to English automatically when I open Context Menu with DOpus, so this issue doesn't bother me so much now
Ah, so Opus is running in English and it's just the input mode which is Korean. That means translation issues aren't relevant, and you can ignore what I said earlier.
With the input mode set to Korean, what happens if you type that character into the path field? Do you get a D or ㅇ character? I'd only expect the key to trigger the D accelerator in the context menu if it's sending a D to the program.
(Maybe File Explorer's context menus reset the input locale while they are active, or something?)
The small input window looks like it's part of the IME, since it has the same style as the other IME window in the middle of the screen.
So the keyboard isn't sending a D character, which explains why it doesn't activate the D accelerator. The mystery for me is why it works in File Explorer.
