Context menu 'Move here' does not show up when moving from sub into parent folder

Will try to explain as short as possible

I am in a folder with subfolders
click my 'Show Files Only'-button
select the files and then rightclick-drag them to the root of these subfolders with the intention to move these files over there, i.e. move from sub folders to parent folder.
The 'move here' context menu item does not show up
(Settings->File Types->All files and folders->Edit->Drop Menu : copy move)

Same action, same files, but then 'move' them into different folder: now the 'move' option shows up.

Any suggestions?

Workaround I use is to 'Copy here' to copy the files to the parent folder and then delete them afterwards.

Thanks

What's the command that runs?

Where are you dragging to exactly? e.g. Is it the folder tree, or to the breadcrumbs/location field?

Are you dragging to a parent folder, or the folder the files are already in?

The button runs:
Set FLATVIEW=Toggle,MixedNoFolders

Please find below 2 examples: step 1-2-3 show files only, select files, then whilst holding right button drag to parent folder, 1 level higher of the subfolders, so as to move them from all subfolders into the parent, obviously without creating subfolders.
No 'Move here' option

step 4-5 same files, but now to a different folder. (move here shows up)

later.. ai!. : sorry...
just now discovered I should not use the context menu in the 1st case, just drag is enough... ahum
the pop-up 'Recreate' or 'Same Folder' shows up when moving to another folder. So, ignore this.
I was expecting a move here in the 1st scenario as well, which isn't really necessary of course..
ahum.. .

Leo - you might as well delete this thread, it serves no purpose, matter is solved.

To explain what was happening: I suspect the Move option is being hidden because some or all of the files are already in the target folder, which means Move isn't an available option for some of the files. (It won't let you move a file to where it already is.)

The targetfolder is empty and contains just the sub folders, no files.
