I constantly work with video editing and motion design, and I need to be constantly getting logos and icons from the Internet. It turns out that for some time now, the SVG format has become much more popular and almost all websites are saving their product logos in the SVG format which is not compatible with my video editor, requiring me to convert them.
It would be very practical for me if Dopus could make this work easier and have compatibility to convert these formats.
Thanks Ixp, it partially worked! The conversion is happening, but the generated file is in very low quality, it was completely pixelated, and when converting from SVG on any online website like I did, it came in good quality.
Do you know how to resolve this? I've already increased the quality 90 parameter to 100 and it's still the same thing.
The same problem remains, but I noticed that if the SVG already has a considerable standard size, it converts with good quality.
The problem is only happening with SVG which is already small, the strange thing is that if I convert with an online converter like ConvertIO.co for example, the quality is good enough to be used.
I also noticed that using this script, the PNG file comes without a transparent background, while again, in the ConvertIo it maintains transparency.
Anyway, thanks for your willingness to help! If there is no other alternative at the moment, I will wait for a response from the Developer to see if he intends to add this tool in the future.
Hello everyone, it's me again.
Even after several attempts and code adjustments, I really couldn't do the conversion correctly, neither with InkScape nor with Imagemagick.
I realized that I didn't post an example image here for you, so I'm sending an image below in .SVG format and also the result I'm getting when trying to convert it in Dopus!
If someone finds a solution that can convert it without losing so much quality, I would be very happy!
