Copy infotip to text file

I'd like to make a button that I use when an image is selected to copy the image's infotip to a text file called 'caption.txt' in the same directory as the image. I'm not sure if this is possible though? I had a look through the help files and searched the forum and didn't anything applicable. Any help would be much appreciated, as always.

If you press Ctrl-Shift-C while the infotip is showing its text will be put in the clipboard. You can then Ctrl-V into the lister to paste the text as a new file and then rename that file to whatever you want.

I don't know of a way to make it a one-step process.

Thanks Nudel.

Probably this is ancient, and is long time ago abandoned, but do we still have some shortcut to copy InfoTip content to clipboard?

Thanks. Indeed it works.
Ctrl+Shift+Alt+C works fine.
Ctrl+Alt+C managed to copy only these lines, and refused to update info on another tries.
