Copy selected filenames to clipboard - from FTP

Hi,

regarding to HOW TO: Copy selected filenames to the clipboard

it works now for local files - but when I right click on a FTP it does not.

So I've tried it with "System File Types / URL:File Transfer Protocol" as for "Directory Opus File Types / All files and folders" but it does not work.

What's wrong or what must I do

  • to get the file names
  • to get the full URI
  • to get the file names + details (columns)

I don't think you can change the right-click context menu for FTP files. You can use a toolbar, menu or hotkey to do it, though.

Me too was looking for the same function!

Unfortunatley Dopus won't allow customizing FTP files/folders context menu, I wonder why? It'll be a great feature!

However, One can still copy URLs of selected FTP files by
EDIT > Copy Filenames > As URLs

Can copy filenames too by choosing As Names Only.

Please consider adding the ability to customize FTP files/folder context menu as there are other functions i require and need to access instantly,
the user interface already cluttered with so many controls, context menu
would be the most appropirate solution in this case as FTP frequently but
not often, so buttons will not be needed all the time and will be setting
in toolbar cluttering my UI.
