Copying files - then suddenly deleting and folder too big to recycle?

Copying big files from one drive onto another. Enough space. Still a few TB free at destination.

At the end I got the below warning.

Wow... what is happening here?
I am just copying, not deleting.

Clicked [No] of course: not sure what all would be deleted?? The entire source folder?

Did a Beyond Compare check - nothing wrong - source and destination are identical.
Files log: last entry just reads "copy" (from here to there)

(Opus v13.9.6)

Just reporting - never encountered this before.

How was the copy initiated?

Is it a simple file copy, or a sync?

Are any custom buttons/commands involved?

Simple copy I guess: Select folder in the right window panel, dragged onto a different drive in the folder tree and did a 'copy here' (i.e. copy UNATTENDED=No)

So you were dragging with the right mouse button and chose "Copy Here" from the menu?

Have you customised the actions in the drag & drop menu?

The default command is copy here rather than copy UNATTENTED=no. Both should work, but it makes me wonder if there are any other differences in your config for the Copy Here action.

Nothing special. Likely it was a 1-off glitch. I was copying some 345GB to another drive.
It was at the very end only. As said, I clicked on 'No' and actually the copy was okay.
The words 'Copying' and 'Deleting' on the same screens just worried me.

(When it comes to big files I always perform a 'Copy': when something goes wrong somewhere at least the source isn't touched. Afterwards I delete the source)

I am not sure what happened in that case, at least without more detail like which folder was being deleted vs what was being copied, which could reveal something.

Forget it Leo. The copy went fine. Nothing was deleted (probably because I clicked on 'No'). It was a simple straightforward copy, like so many. Just it was a bigger one. Again, forget it. Thanks anyway.
