CopyTrans & HEIC file support

After installing CopyTrans so I can view HEIC files my Directory Opus won't open. The Lister pops up, but then almost immediately it disappears/crashes.

If I uninstall CopyTrans, then Directory opus works fine. I have tried reinstalling CopyTrans and the bug returns.

Using latest version of Copy trans from Open and batch convert HEIC files on Windows

Directory opus Pro, 12.32 Build 8588

System info:
Windows 11 Home, Version 22H2
OS build 22621.1992

If the CopyTrans codec is crashing, only the authors of it could fix it. We can't fix their code.

But there's also an HEIC/HEIF codec from Microsoft on the Microsoft Store, assuming you're on a current version of Windows (10 or 11).

I have used CopyTrans for at least two years on Win 10 and 11 and never had any problems.

Not really a solution, I know, more a ray of hope :slight_smile:
