I'm evaluating from some days your directory opus and today i'm register to forum to make you a question.
Dopus has lots functions and it's very customizable, comparing to other similar programs,
nevertheless i ask you if is possible add my personal customize option that i need and how much this improvement costs to me over regular price of 89 $
Unfortunately i have eyesight's problem and i have setted Dopus with high contrast text colors under dark
background colors to enhance text focus but under breadcrumb is not sufficient.
For this reason i ask if you can integrate (and how costs) a simple function that Dopus don't have,
that permit me to choose into breadcrumbs area also the color from pallette choice (that i see better)
for underlined folder when mouse touch it, in order to better see what i have hoovered with mouse
into all path row in order to defferentiate the choice from all the path
I have understood reading Help guide how modify font size in display border source but i have always difficult to see underlined folder that i have hoovered, i see text but i do not distinguish what i'm hoovering in that moment.
Reading guide i have also saw that is possible customize field "location" that change color of hoovered location but in this case, i must click into field area that don't have buttons to see full path
and it's not immedaitely visible as default how into breadcrumbs field
For this reason i think that two different high contrast color (PATH / hoovered folder) is better for me
because is more visible than only underlined folder and "breadcrumbs field" is more easy and rapid to use
than "Location field"
We're considering some changes to the way breadcrumbs and the location field work at the moment, so this may fit in to that.
Could you explain more about why the Location field is unsuitable for you at the moment?
I've made a quick example below where I set the toolbars and file display border to use 20 point fonts, and also changed the Location field's highlight colour. (This is all done with the current version, so you can do this now. Please ask if you need help re-creating any part of the example.)
In this example, the Location field at the top shows the full path without having to click on it, and it highlights the name under the mouse with a coloured box. (The colour can be changed if the yellow I've chosen doesn't show up well on your screen.) The location field fits a wider path than the file display border, at the bottom, so it should allow for the full path to be shown in more situations.
With a configuration like this, are there still issues with the Location field, where you'd want to use the file display border instead?

In your example you set 20 as font with yellow background of folder hoovered.
Before to open my post into forum i have done similar change.
In your example i see it, but all path is not visible when it has lots subfolders using large font

In addiction field location uses an addiction row toolbar of my screen when there is already disponible
file display border that do same thing and shows as default full path that i want.
I have saw that Dopus have lots settings of text color and background except into "file display border" for folder hoover.
But the same is true with the file display border.

If it's just the extra toolbar line, we have something planned which I think will address that.
