I have my Dopus set to count files before copying them.
When I take a backup of around 18.000 files at work over a network Dopus seems to put up the copy-dialog, count the files and them start copying them.
It would be a great addition if the copy-dialog stated "Counting files" before copying. Newbees starts wondering if somethings wrong, and even an old-timer like me gets suspicious before it start copying.
I think it does already if you enable the "full" progess dialog (the one with the speed timers etc.) under Prefs / File Operations.
Maybe it should also print something in the "simple" progress dialog as well, though.
Dialog clarity is always a good idea.
