I think the Go NEW command will load the "default" lister?

File -> Open New Lister in the default menus runs the Go NEW command.

Or you could create your own button, hotkey, menu, etc. to do the same. See Toolbars 1 (video tutorial) over in the Tutorials part of the forum if you've never created a button before and want to learn the basics.
