Hi There, I decided to give 13.23 a try and it's not bad, I need to mod some of the tool bars to suit me and I like the theming system.
I have a problem with my Left/right cursor keys, when in the file/right pane the left/right used to open and close folders, now it won't, it does in the folder tree pane and in the preferences dialog, can someone point me to the option to turn it on, ATM I have to double click a folder to open it, bit of a PITB, cheers
I'm not sure which version you are comparing 13.23 to, but it sounds like you're talking about expandable folders in the file display.
Those were added in 13.0 and the default hotkeys to expand/collapse them have always been Alt+Up and Alt+Down. Left/Right has never expanded/collapsed folders in the file display (only in the folder tree), and prior to 13.0 you could not expand folders in the file display at all.
You can configure hotkeys to make left/right do the expansion, but it's not recommended as then you lose the ability to scroll left and right using the same keys.
You also need to ensure you don't change what left/right do when in modes other than Details/Power, since you need to be able to move the selection left and right in all the other modes which arrange things as a grid.

Hell, that's right, I don't know what made me think that, the new UI is a bit overwhelming with so many options, is there any way to install V10.5.7 i have now alongside V13 so I can tweak it to see if I want to upgrade, maybe run it as a portable version ? cheers
