Cursor location in text viewer

Hello,
The status bar in the standard text viewer shows total number of lines and bytes but no information about a cursor location (line number and position). Is this feature available in the viewer? If not, IMHO it would be nice to have it.

You might want to check out the SourceCodeViewer plugin as it has this.
