It would be a great option for users to insert 'custom commands' into the status bar by using the name of the command inside a code block like a status bar code; {z:cmd_name}. The custom commands has it's definition including it's representing icon in the customize dialog so that simplifies it being placed in the status bar by needing just a name call (instead of a function definition with icon etc.) It should be restricted to 16px icon size and label less.
