When in customize mode right clicking a button shows a menu:
- Cut
- Copy
- Edit
- Three buttons …etc
Could you consider adding “Set hotkey“ in that right click menu.
You can then very quickly modify hotkeys for the buttons.
That open a window for you to type your hotkey into, which is the same thing you can already do via the Edit option.
I’m sorry you’re right it’s in the edit dialog, completely overlooked that one.
