Customizing The Folder Tree View

Is there a way to modify exactly what is shown and isn't shown within one of these "Start Folder Tree at:" locations? For example I find the Computer option to be almost perfect except that it doesn't include the recycle bin. Is there anyway to creation my own Customized Folder Tree layout or modify an existing one?

You could put Recycle Bin in your Favorites so it shows up in the tree there.

You could also make a toolbar button (or menu item, context menu item, or hotkey) which takes you to Recycle Bin, if that helps.

The primary reason I want to create my own custom layout is I just don't need most of the groups/folders that the folder tree includes (the Recycle Bin I do need!). I want to remove these "extras" as I feel it clutters the interface and makes it difficult to quickly find what I'm seeking when I glance over at the folder tree. Given that Directory Opus pulls these "features" from Windows Explorer there is indeed a way to remove them. Here is how I did it.
