I like using the breadcrumbs path field in my toolbar but it takes up more width than is really necessary. It has not only the address field but the word "Location" beside it. I already know it's the location and don't need the label. For space constraints, how do I get rid of the word but keep the actual address field?
The Location heading is turned off on the default File Display Toolbar (the only place the field appears by default).
If you have a custom toolbar where it's turned on, you can turn it off. Go into Customize mode (Settings > Customize Toolbars), then right-click the location field and choose Edit. There are options in there for displaying the label and so on:
