D/O has a problem accessing Thomson Reuters Firm Central folder/file tree as shown on the left side of this page. It shows offline when it should not be. The T/R folder is not a real Windows folder. It is created by a T/R desktop utility that looks at the T/R cloud storage site for Firm Central files and displays the cloud's file structure so the files are not kept locally on the hard drive.
The folder window also shown on this page is Windows 10 Explorer and as you can see, it recognizes the T/R folder just fine and displays its contents.
I suspect that T/R wrote their api specifically for Windows Explorer. So why would D/O not recognize the T/R folder/file tree like Windows 10 Explorer.
You can contact Thomson Reuters Firm Central tech support at 1-888-287-8537 and I am sure they can direct you to the developer resources where you might fine an answer to this problem. T/R is a global supplier of practice management and legal research software to attorneys. It would be very nice if D/O worked with the T/R folder/file tree.
