Date modified on backupped folder

Each day I backup a folder with my present project to an external harddisk. This folder contains a number of files and a few subfolders. Both the main and the subfolders mainly contain Microsoft Word files and some pdf's. I have noticed that the 'date modified' on the main folder of the backup only changes if there is a change within the main folder itself, not if the change occurs in a subfolder. Is this intentional behaviour? Can it be changed? I would like to see 'date modified' updated for any changed file or folder within the backup.

Yes, it's normal.

That is how Windows behaves and not related to Directory Opus. You would see the same thing no matter which tool you use to view the folder or copy files into the subfolder.

OK, that settles it. Thank you, Leo.
