Default attribute of files copied via FTP

Is there a way to set the default file attribute of files FTP'd from my windows system to a Linux host? Currently the files are transferred as "744" but I'd like them transferred as "774". I realize I can change the attributes using the "set attribute" command once the files are FTP'd, but it would be a lot easier for me if I can set the default attributes ahead of time.

I can't see anywhere in the settings where I can set this.

I don't think there is on the Opus side. The defaults are most likely decided by the server side.
