"Delete before copy" and close sync during; rest of synchronization does not start

Hello everyone,

Can't say if this is by design. Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open Synchronize
  2. Enable "Delete before copy"
  3. Start the sync, preferably with lots of files that require deletion.
  4. The File Explorer "send to recycle Bin" (or similar wording) window appears.

Now, if there are lots of files to delete, this can take time. Before file deletion ends, close the Sync tool. When file deletion is complete, the synchronization will not start.

Just tried a second sync. This time, I got a DOpus "Deleting from..." window for the file deletion process. Perhaps the issue won't occur in this case, I'm still waiting for 200.000 files to be deleted - takes quite some time.

I don't know why a File Explorer "Deleting..." prompt appeared earlier.

If you delete to the recycle bin, it's the Windows shell that handles it and shows its own progress dialog.

Looks like it doesn't matter. I just confirmed that synchronization did not start even with the Dopus "Deleting..."window. So, I guess the Sync tool should only be closed after the final, "Copying" window appears.

Perhaps this can be improved?

edit: Hardly a huge problem, of course. It's just that after pressing "Synchronize" (after Compare) it feels like all impending operations should be in the "queue".
