I have Opus 10 running and recently discovered deleting duplicate files. I have tried it a few times and it runs fine to the delete stage and then it just sits on the first file to be deleted without deleting it or any of the others. The message box is called < (0%( Deleting >
I have like 100,000 dupes at about 100 GB so I am wondering if this is too big a selection and if I should reduce the search.
If you are deleting to the recycle bin, turning off Preferences / File Operations / Deleting Files / Delete to Recycle Bin where possible (supports undo) temporarily, so the recycle bin is not used, may make things work where they didn't before.
(When using the recycle bin, Opus just passes the list of thing to be deleted to Windows, which does the rest. Or doesn't if Windows gets stuck. When not using the recycle bin, Opus does everything itself.)
Which version of WIndows are you running Opus 10 on? You've chosen "Other (Old)" as your OS, which is unusual.
