Description field ... file version data not refreshing

It seems since installing 9.5, I seem to be having a problem getting the file version data to display in the description field.

As I recall, it used to display almost immediately, now it seems to show up and then disappear later or showup eventually after waiting awhile.

Clicking the refrsh seems to have no affect.
Is there a setting thaat came unset ?

I have it .... the problem occurs while I am comparing directories under the sync operation. Closing that lister fixes the problem and the descriptions then display correctly.
