Dir Opus status icon not shown after startup (Vista 64)

I have no idea what could be causing this and I'm pretty sure it had worked before. The Directory Opus icon isn't shown in the status icon area after booting so I have to switch to my desktop and double-click to open a new lister to make it appear.

Any ideas what could be causing this? Vista 64 is up to date and I'm using the latest Dir Opus (9.1.1.8.3352.x64).

Either the icon has been turned off in Opus's preferences (unlikely as you'd probably remember doing that ) or Windows has decided to hide the icon (which it will randomly do sometimes when you install a new version even if you've told it not to because the taskbar icon-hiding feature still has that annoying bug in it ).

Assuming it's the latter, right-click the Taskbar, open Properties, go to the Notification Area tab and click Customize.

The icon is activated in DOpus and "Hide inactive icons" isn't active either. I temporarily activated it and set Directory Opus to "Show", applied and it still wasn't shown.

Oh well... I guess I will have to live with that

Weird...

What happens if you restart Opus? (Or configure it not to show the icon, apply, then configure it to show it again and apply that?)

When I restart it the icon appears immediately. I toggled the option and will see if it has any result after my next reboot.
