  • The simple sound player now uses the Video & Audio plugin for playback, enabling wider format support.

  • Added Prefs COLLAPSEALL argument, lets you open the Prefs dialog with all categories collapsed rather than remembering their expansion state. You can combine with PAGE to show a page and collapse all other categories.

  • Added Preferences / Miscellaneous / Advanced / everything_max_results option. By default limits the number of results returned by an Everything query to 10000.

  • Improved performance of Everything searches

  • Opus should now start if the language DLL it wants to use is missing.

  • Fixed menu subitem glyph drawing over the menu label if a menu button had been put inside a menu (not supported) and had the 'hold or right-click to dropdown' option turned on

  • Dragging script commands from Customize / Commands tab to a toolbar now works properly

  • Listers that are closed showing global everything search results now restore the search properly when reopened

  • Evaluator code that uses column keywords (e.g. evaluator columns) is now given an empty string for any fields that aren't available, rather than it causing an error. IsSet() can still be used to definitively test if information is available or not.

  • The "Opus is still running in the background" shutdown message is now suppressed for automatic shutdowns

  • Fixed tree contents disappearing when some configuration settings changed (e.g. "Show localized filenames").

  • Fixed script Item.MatchFilter() method triggering password prompt for encrypted archive file when not needed

  • In single-click mode, hovering over folder expanders now triggers them after the system double-click time rather than the system hover time (which is what is used for file selection). Also fixed a problem where the expander wouldn't be activated if the folder was selected.

  • Fixed folder tree items being shown under Desktop even if they were turned off in Folder Tree / Contents Preferences.

  • The popout preset management dialog now remembers its previous size

  • Filter strings entered in the FAYT (in filter mode) are now added to the history list for the filter bar.

  • Fixed the start menu opening sometimes when a systemwide hotkey using the Windows key was invoked

  • Thumbnail aspect ratio overlays are now drawn for non-image files (e.g. PDF and Word documents) if cropped by the scaling mode.

  • Fixed Prefs closing when return pushed in search field.

  • Evaluator viewmode value now works in button functions as well as things like labels and tooltips

  • Filter parsing now handles subfolder keyword correctly (works with or without and/or to link it to the previous clause, although strictly doesn't require it)

  • Play STOPALL on a button no longer requires a file to be selected for the button to be enabled

  • Fixed crash sending WMA files to the "Play" command.

  • Fix for Win key system-wide hotkeys potentially triggering without the Windows key down after unlocking the screen.

  • Fixed metadata panel's text / grouped text colors not saving properly.

  • In Preferences, double-clicking a starred page now jumps to the page's real location in the tree.

  • If the Dupes/Find results are set to open on a specific side or as source/destination, and the results collection is already open in a tab that doesn't meet those criteria, the tab will now be moved and/or source/destination state changed so that the results are in the requested location.

  • The Duplicates Select function now switches the duplicates results tab to source if it's currently set as destination.

  • Fixed Play STOPALL command causing the Lister to close as well as stopping the sound

  • Using CLI QUICKSEARCHENGINE to specify a search engine for the QUICKSEARCH command now respects any engine-specific flags provided on the command line

  • Automatically-remembered folder formats now override content type formats

  • Fixed default Ctrl+L key in inline rename not doing lower-case in all cases

  • Change to stop global hotkeys using the Windows key from executing more than once per press in some cases

  • Fixed flatview copies always acting like the Copy to single level if all items are in the same folder option was turned on
