Preferences

  • Added Preferences / File Displays / Options / Info Tips / Display checkerboard behind transparent images option.

Scripting

  • Added Filter.anyword and Filter.eval script properties.

Other changes

  • Added support for compressed SVG files (.SVGZ)

  • The status bar definition editor now remembers its settings (visible spaces, etc).

  • The InfoTips and Tiles fields in the filetype editor now have syntax highlighting and features like "show visible spaces".

Fixes

  • Fixed 'Open Path'-style commands in other apps (e.g. Everything) misidentifying Opus tabs which had previously displayed the relevant folder but were now showing an Opus-only path (e.g. a file collection).

  • Fixed Image CONVERT button being disabled with no files selected even if it specified the source file on the command line.

  • Fixed issues with FileType NEWNAME argument if a count of %1c or %2c was given.

  • Fixed clicks on filter bar edit field not positioning the cursor properly.

  • Fixed evaluator IsChecked() etc not working in the status bar.

  • Fixed the status bar scaling icons like the format lock below the standard shell icon size.

  • Fixed "Zone.Identifier" file appearing in the target folder when dragging a file from Firefox to Opus.

  • Fixed Show VIEWERCMD=selaspect,reset not being remembered.

  • Fixed image viewer resize quirk with very small image zoomed to maximum when image frame toggled on and off.

  • Fixed Preferences / File Operations / Progress Indicators / Counting Files / Use Everything to count files where possible not being disabled if Everything not available.

  • Possible fix for crash ID 779
