Directory Opus preview .mov video, the screen is flipped 90 degrees and the colors are inaccurate

hello,

In the file viewer window of Directory Opus, the color of the .mov format video is abnormal in the file view window, and the image is upside down (turned 90 degrees). However, when viewed in the Potplay player, the color is normal.

I installed the K-Lite Codec Pack, in the settings panel;

I set both the h.264 and hevc options to the LAV decoding method of the K-Lite Codec Pack, but it still doesn't work.

In the video settings of Directory Opus's built-in plug-in, whether it is unchecking the media engine media session or checking it, it will not work.

They are all different colors and turned upside down 90 degrees.

May I ask is there any solution?

If you open the same video in the Photos app (the one that comes with Windows), does it play correctly in that or have similar problems (or not play at all)?

The built-in Windows player also shows the same color distortion.

This indicates that Directory Opus uses the system's decoding methods.

However, third-party players have their own built-in decoders, so they play with normal colors; I suspect this is the case.

Because of this, I even specifically installed K-Lite Codec Pack, but it doesn't seem to take over playback in Directory Opus.

To make it work you’d need to find codecs that understand the file. Once the Windows Photos app shows the video correctly, Opus should as well.
