I'm not sure when this was added, but as of at least 13.20.2 Preferences>Miscellaneous>External Tools has a built in template to use Image Majick to convert images to .heic .
All one needs to do to use it is complete the path to magick.exe .
The Dopus Image converter then has a listing for heic.
I'm using the portable version of Image Magick and it works just fine.
I already had it there so I could use montage.exe as part of an icon set script by @galaxyhub I think.
It is useful for me to have that if only to reply to a friend of mine limited to his iPhone.
At least I can send the same extension back if preferred.
Besides, Directory Opus now can do that !
No distracting issues !
