Well I won't have to, finaly. This day Directory Opus is opening normally. Maybe in the meantime there was an update with Sentinel One. I hope it will solve the problem definitively.

Please use Explorer to have a look in %TEMP%\DOpus.Minidumps and see if a crash log was saved. If so, please ZIP it (or them) and email it to crashdumps@gpsoft.com.au.

I checked this and no, there is no such item. Seems DO crashes at an early stage of loading, preventing any internal logging.

The update might have corrupted some Windows files. Try this guide . And the usual like sfc /scannow and Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth in an elevated command prompt, and a filesystem check.

Or, simply roll back the updates and see if that resolves the problem. You can always re-apply them the second time around. Unfortunately I can't roll back the update as it is my company computer, I can't uninstall an update. Well the kernelbase.dll file was last updated this night, so for sure by one of the microsoft update installed between last night and this morning. No problem reported from both SFC and DISM.
