I am trying to figure out if I can use dopus as a "Disk Catalog". I would like to create a listing of all my directories and files in a searchable "database".
The collectors are well suited for this, but they are not searchable. Is there maybe any other way that I missed?
Collections are the only thing like that in Opus.
Depending on what you actually want to do, you could use Print Folder with a flatview format to export in comma separated format and load into Excel.
I guess, although a bit complicated. I may want to search for a folder and then see what is below it....
This would be a very nice feature to have though, if not too difficult to program?
Maybe just use Prinjt Folder with the FlatView grouped option directing the output to a file and forget about the comma separated and Excel parts.
