Dismissing update notification on top of the forum

So far, when clicking the cross of the update notification, this area immediately disappeared.

For the last two or three notifications, when clicking on this button, nothing happens, until I reload the website.

I noticed that as well. It happened with a forum software update, so I think it's just a bug that they'll hopefully fix.

if you log out, the message can be closed.
This has only recently been the case when logged in.
changed the setting?

For me, it's gone after a refresh.
