Display file sizes, but do not look into subdirectories...?

Hi, all.

I like being able to see the sizes of files in directories, but find that when I just activate the 'Size' columns in DOpus, it recursed subdirectories, which causes my hard disk to grind away far too much.

Is there a way to have it display file sizes, but to not scan subdirectory sizes at the same time?

It sounds like you have the Calculate folder sizes automatically for ... option turned on. This option, in Prefs / Folders / Options, can be set to off, fixed discs only, all local and network drives and local drives only.
