I know currently, we can click a video to view the length at the bottom
Right now, I can display:
file name, date created, size like shown:
I want to display the video length as well. for every file in my folder regardless if I have selected it or not.
I know we can do this in details+thumbnails view, but I want this feature in the thumbnails view.
If anyone has any idea how to do this, let me know. If it's not possible I'm requesting this as a feature
Have you tried Tiles mode? You can configure that to show large thumbnails with configurable metadata next to them.
The data displayed in Tiles mode can be configured via Settings > File Types, and then editing the Movies file type group.
There is a similar request here: New info for augmented thumbnails view mode.
The suggestion there is to display the video length as an overlay in the movie thumbnail, and to display the video dimensions in the label like it is done for images.
