Maybe I'm missing it, but is there no way to change the color of hardlinks and, more of an interest to me, junctions?
The closest match I could think of was System Folders, but changing that had no effect in the lister.
I know DOpus recognizes the junction, puts "Junction" in the "Type" column, and cites the actual directory it's pointing to in the "Comments" column, but in addition to all that, I would like to be able to spot my junctions at quick glance via color. Is this not possible?
There's no specific colouring for junctions/hardlinks.
Most of the junctions created by the OS (Vista/7) happen to be system folders -- i.e. their S attribute is set -- but there's no connection beyond that between system files/folders and junctions.
There should be a shortcut icon overlaid on them, FWIW, though obviously that's true of actual folder shortcuts as well.
Yeah, true, but if I wasn't so lazy (in this regard) and would submit an actual feature suggestion, it would be to add color and font control and remove that shortcut symbol.
