DO 11 and Direct Folders

For the last few months I have been using Direct Folders which has been revolutionary in allowing me quick access to common folders, especially in an "Select File" dialogue opened by another application.

I have just downloaded DO 11 and am very disappointed to find that the easy double-click method of opening Direct Folders doesn't work. It DOES work if I use the hot key combination defined in Direct Folders (which I've set to Crtl + Shift + S), but double-clicking does nothing.

Does anyone have a solution? This is a huge annoyance for me. I wonder if it is possible to add a button to DO which calls a custom script which emulates my hot key combination?

Thanks in advance.

What are you double-clicking that has stopped working?

If it's functionality that is part of Direct Folders rather than Opus, you might be better off asking the Dorect Folders authors for help than us.

We might be able to give you ways to run commands on double-click (depending on what is being double-clicked) if you can find out the command to run to open Direct Folders the way you want it to open.

According to their site, Direct Folders should work with Dopus in the same manner- double clicking in any area of a window (lister).

Nevermind though- If it helps anyone, I got around this problem by re-mapping a button on my mouse; I set the global hot key for DF to Crl+Shift+A, then remapped my middle mouse button to send this key combination. Sorted.

You can use Preferences / File Displays / Mouse / Double-click on file display background... to run arbitrary commands, if you want to do it using Opus.
