DO icon from the forums header

Hello!

Whoever created this icon, could we get it in 32x32, 24x24, and 16x16 as PNG with transparency?

X.

Trevor Morris created the DOpus Icons: http://morris-photographics.com/design/index.html
Below you will find DOpusLogo.zip containing:

DOpusLogo.zip (1020 KB)

Here's what you get from simply resizing the 48x48x32 icon that's in dopus.exe.

(The smaller icons are usually made by removing some of the details, with the 16x16 not having the "feathers" at all. I didn't do anything like that and simply resized the images in Photoshop.)

Edit: Posted at the same time as Christiaan.

I also added a very large DOpus Logo 2000x2000 PNG (thanks to Trevor Morris), but i'm not sure if i'm allowed to post that one here...

Thanks Christiaan & Leo!

slightly offtopic... but what the heck is the logo supposed to be or emulate?

Just curious.

I might be wrong but I've always seen it as a 3.5" floppy disk with the casing removed and the disk part replaced by the Sun. So it's like the Sun with a 3.5" floppy shutter on the front. (The animated versions of the logo spin like a floppy would, too.)

It helps if you've taken apart a 3.5" floppy before.

These days it should probably be a HDD arm or something instead of the shutter.

Doh! I thought it was some sort of ancient Mayan headgear. I guess I never thought it through.
