DO in single click mode is not registering clicks

Hi,

I am running DO v13.10.5 beta on Windows 11 24H2. I use Windows Explorer and DO in single click mode. For a while now DO is sometimes not registering the single mouse click. Windows Explorer works fine with no problems. I have completely uninstalled DO and started with a clean install with default settings

I have also played around with the hover time but it did not make a difference.

In the video, how are you navigating into the folders if the mouse click isn't working?

If it's working but you sometimes have to click more than once, try turning off Expand sub-folders on hover in case that's triggering just before you click and cancelling the click or similar. (Not sure if that is possible, but it's one thing that comes to mind.)

If you're using AutoHotkey or something else that might be changing what the mouse does when over Opus's windows, that could also be involved, potentially.

I am navigating by doing a single mouse click. Sometimes the mouse click does not register.

I turned this setting off and it made no difference.

I am not using AutoHotkey or anything similar. I would expect something like this would affect Windows Explorer as well.

I have noticed that if I pause before clicking on a folder it always works. I also tried disabling the DO tooltip but this made no difference.

Here is another video and this time DO freezes for a couple of seconds.

I also get similar occasional freezes, happens when navigating folders (double-click), the lister does not update for a few seconds - not sure when it started to happen, after V13 - at first I thought it was a mis-click and I would double-click again and again, the freeze is about 2 or 3 seconds, now I am more aware I've stopped double-clicking again and again and just move my mouse back and forth over a toolbar waiting for the highlight to reappear which tells me the freeze is finished.
It is not drives waking up as most times the navigation is within the same drive.
Cannot reproduce, therefore difficult to get process monitor.

See if they still happen with scripts disabled. (Ones which handle folder change events especially.)

Hi there.
we experience a similar issue after updating to version 13.11 x64.
Single Click doesn`t work any longer in Detail Mode.
This happened on two (out of two) Windows machines, one running Windows 10 and the other Windows 11. Changes appeared directly after upgrading.
Any solution would be much appreciated.

Please try the 13.11.1 beta, we've made a change which will hopefully improve this.

Fixed! I tried this yesterday and today with no missed clicks. As a fellow Dev I am curious to the cause and fix. Can you share this?
