DO in Windows 11 (22000.65) Developer Version Sluggishness

Hi,

Been using Directory Opus for years with no issues in Windows 7, 8.0, 8.1 and now 10. However, and this might be expected, I am now running the latest developer version of Windows 11 (64-bit: ver 22000.65) on a VMware Workstation Pro VM (version 16.1.2 build-17966106) and every thing works OK, but Directory Opus (your latest version) is very sluggish and eats lots of CPU cycles trying to move around. Their File Manager moves fine as your program does in released versions of Windows. Please understand, this is not a "bug", but more of an observation of Directory Opus within Windows 11 developer.

Curious to know your thoughts and technical insights as to why this might be happening.

Chris

Because you're beta testing an unfinished operating system.

Tell the company you're beta testing for, not us. Then they can fix the problem, which probably affects a lot of other software as well, before it is released. That is the purpose of beta testing software.

We won't support Windows 11 until it is more stable and complete. Doing so is a waste of time as it is still a moving target.
