I have downloaded latest beta (13.10.4), I have run installer but system restart is required to complete the installation.
I have decided to postpone system restart.
Thereafter I was notified two times about availability of Directory Opus 13.10.4 beta.
Option to disable further notifications about particular event would be welcomed by me.
Installer said me something else.
And I have exited DOpus before running the installer (I have two user sessions active and I have exited DOpus for each of them).
Directory Opus 13.10.3 (Beta) Build 9048 x64
OS 6.1 (B:7601 P:2 T:1) SP 1.0 "Service Pack 1"
That can happen if the installer can't replace/rename some of the files, which might happen if Opus is still running under another user. (E.g. If you just closed the Opus windows without actually exiting it, it would still be running. The installer will only restart it if it's running as the current user.)
Another thing to note is that the notification in the operating system's side panel only goes away when you dismiss it. Opus has no way to tell Windows that the notification is no longer relevant and should be removed, unfortunately. (Same issue with all software that triggers OS notifications. There's no way to remove them once they are added.)
I have tried again to take installation procedure. I choose "Exit Directory Opus" from tray icon.
This time additionally I terminated dopusrt.exe in session other than session from which I run installer.
Result is the same.
I say about notifications displayed in window titled "Directory Opus New and Updates".
EDIT:
There was no dopus.exe in system at the moment when installer was started. Process Hacker displays processes of all users.
