Hi,
I still have two probs with DO:
- It normally doesn't work with the quick-start bar, so I have to doubleklick it.
- Now it doesn't start at all. The taskmanager shows the process for 1-2 sec., but then it terminates.
What do you think?

Are you using an expired evaluation version?
As far as I know: No. I've used it since more than three months, which excludes an evaluation version, right?
Patrick
So you're running a registered version, bought from GPSoftware?
Yes, it's a registered version.
Btw I'm using Win 2K.

Contact GPSoft for support: gpsoft.com.au/Support.html
"Support is also available via the Forums at the Directory Opus Resource Centre."
Is my problem too difficult for a forum?
Your problem requires debugging so, yes.
What's wrong with asking GPSoft for support? The "Copy" button in the Licence Manager puts your registration code into the clipboard so all you have to do is paste it into the form on their webpage. Not difficult or time consuming!
By the way, another thing to check is that you're not running Zone Alarm or, if you are, that you've told it not to kill Opus if it tries to open files or other activity viewed as highly suspicious by ZA.
Off topic for this thread, but in a vein somewhat similar since firewalls were mentioned, yesterday Nick Bradbury, the author of FeedDemon and TopStyle, had an interesting rant in his blog about firewalls and program development in general.
