Is there an arg to disable this feature? If not, can one please be added? It just confuses me 
You can add noghostpath to the args to disable ghost paths entirely, or nopreservepath to just prevent keeping them when moving into a new directory that has the same paths below it.
I'll get this added to the release notes as it was missing before now.
