DO11: Prevent Image Toolbar appearing in Thumbnails mode

Would it be possible to have a preference allowing the image toolbar to be turned off? It currently appears automatically when you are in thumbnails mode. While I can see the logic of this, it can be annoying. For instance you may have large folders of Music albums which you want to look at in thumbnail view to get a look at the covers. Obviously if you want to edit any of this albums - change tags, burn to Cd etc - you want to use mp3 editing tools and burning tools. Surely you can make a toolbar for these tasks appear, but the Imaging toolbar remains in place, because you are in thumbnails mode.

Also there are many different "image" files which need to be treated differently. You need different tools for PDFs and EPS files. Again making a toolbar for those tasks is no problem, but I can never get rid of the Imaging toolbar without manually closing it down. Or am I missing something?

That should be fixed since Beta 3 or 4. The current beta is version 5, so you would only have to turn of the auto toolbar, which is an example, in the preferences.

Preferences / File Display Modes / Toolbars is where you can stop the Images toolbar from appearing in thumbnails mode.

Thanks guys

methink this feature should be turned off by default.

loving the new version.

I Guess, that it was activated only for demonstration purposes in the Beta versions.
