DO12 - Folder Icons for Favorites List

I'm using a 4k display (not sure if this matters or not) and the new 4k icon set. The folder icon for the Favorites button and other buttons in my toolbars are the same (appropriate) size, but the folder icons for the folders in the favorites list are tiny.

In the screenshot, the icons highlighted in blue look fine but the ones in green are not consistent with the other folder icons throughout my toolbar.

Which icon set do you mean exactly?

What size are the folder icons in the file display, and over in File Explorer? Do you have Windows set to a high DPI mode?

I'm using the "Directory Opus Basis (4K-Display-Edition)" as the first icon set.

I can't measure the size but the standard MS Windows Explorer icons for a folder looks the same as the smaller folders in the favorites list... which looks the same as the folder icons in a normal lister (screenshot). Is it just because there isn't an upscaled folder icon in the delivered .dis file?

I'm running 3840x2160 at 200DPI.

So the folder icons are the right size and the problem is the toolbar icons are enormous?

The "Directory Opus Basis (4K-Display-Edition)" icon set was made for Opus 11. In Opus 12, old icon sets with no DPI information will be DPI scaled if you are running in high DPI mode.

I recommend using the default icon set for now. More icon sets are coming which will be DPI aware. (Most of the icons are made, we just need to get around to setting them up, which will happen in a future beta.)

I'd like to see the folder icons and the icons for the favorites list (both look the same) to be the same size as the icons that I see in the 2nd toolbar. They are noticeably smaller than the My Documents and the Favorites menu icon. Looking at the Favorites menu button I have, it doesn't look consistent that the first 3 icons are larger than the list of favorite folders that follows.

Auto-generated favorites lists will use the system icon size (the same one you should see in a Details Mode file display). No way to change that at present.

(If you make the menu with individual buttons for each folder, those can be set to any icon or icon size you wish.)

None of that is new to Opus 12. It has always been this way.
